Coconut Fatty Acid Distillate (CFAD) is a byproduct derived from the refining process of crude coconut oil. It is obtained through the distillation of crude coconut oil to separate the fatty acids from the oil. CFAD contains a mixture of fatty acids, primarily saturated fatty acids, that have been distilled from the crude coconut oil.
